Auditions for The Laramie Project by Moisés Kaufman and the Tectonic Theatre Project, directed by Charlotte Keefe

Sunday, December 1 at 1:30 pm and Thursday, December 5 at 6 pm at the Taos Onstage rehearsal space located at Southside Plaza, 1350 Paseo del Pueblo Sur

The play is in response to the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, a young gay man, in Laramie Wyoming. The Tectonic Theatre Project traveled to Laramie six times and conducted over 200 interviews in an attempt to understand what happened and why. Roles will include 8-10 actors, male and female, and a variety of ages. Each actor will portray multiple citizens of Laramie. The portrayals are monologues.
